Slitting
Apr.30.2024
As mentioned in film processing sequences and in printing, a film slitter performs the following function: 1: Unwinding from a roll, 2: feeding film through the slitting step, 3: winding again onto a roll. After film slitting, each new segment is wound separately onto its own roll – as such, the windup comprises of a series of rolls containing cores cut to the width of each sheet.
The biggest width of film is 130cm. The smallest is 3cm.
